Research suggests a cup of tea a day keeps the doctor away!

Research presented at the Fifth International Scientific Symposium on Tea & Human Health shows that regular tea drinking can help with a host of potential health problems.  Regular tea drinking can help us burn more calories, help the body metabolize fat, regulate blood pressure, help osteoporosis, improve the function of arteries, prevent cancer and improve the effect of chemotherapy and improve memory.  So if you don’t like apples, a cup of tea a day keeps the doctor away.

Chinese medicine, indeed Chinese culture as a whole, has considered tea drinking a part of a healthy lifestyle.  Green and white tea’s are considered especially healthy.  Pu’erh tea is considered especially good for the digestion, especially after fatty meals.
