Accredited Voluntary Register.
I am on a voluntary register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
The Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care created the Accredited Voluntary Register in order that members of the public can choose the services of practitioners who are on a register that has been independently assessed and approved.
The accredited voluntary register scheme was set up by the Government to improve standards and safety for the benefit of the public.
Accreditation demonstrates my commitment to high professional standards, to enhancing safety and delivering a better service.
The Professional Standards Authority was previously known as Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence (CHRE).
I am associated with this by way of my membership with The British Acupuncture Council.
