Acupuncture treatments:

here are subsidised by the Phoenix Surgery Charitable Trust. Treatment is funded by the charity rather than the NHS. Patients generally pay around half what they would have to privately; although at 30 minutes, sessions are shorter than they would be privately. This is a ground-breaking scheme to provide acupuncture within an NHS context and has been reported in the national press and been put forward for awards. I have worked as an acupuncturist for the surgery for over 10 years now.

Phoenix Charitable Trust

The Phoenix Trust is a local charity (Cirencester) which supports the provision of services to relieve hardship or distress affecting patient’s health where the service is not generally available within the NHS. The aim of the Trust is to ensure that everyone has equal access to the services they need, even if they cannot afford the full cost.

Private treatments

I work privately at ‘The Complete Health Centre’ and at the surgery’s branch practice in South Cerney. I also have clinics in Gloucester and Cheltenham.
