Kidney and urinary disorders
A surprisingly common presentation in the clinic are kidney and urinary disorders. There is some great evidence that acupuncture can help these conditions, including problems such as:
- Overactive bladder
- Urinary Tract Infections (treatment and prevention)
- Nocturnal enuresis (bed wetting)
- Vulvar vestibulitis (painful inflammation of the skin and the mucous secreting glands found in the skin of the vulvar vestibule)
- Urinary incontinence
- Neurogenic bladder
- Dialysis pruritis
- Fatigue and depression in dialysis patients.
