Acupuncture support for cancer patients
Research shows that acupuncture can play a role in the treatment and care of cancer patients. Alongside conventional treatment, the research shows that acupuncture can help with cancer related fatigue, protect white blood cells during chemotherapy, reduce drug side-effects such as hot flushes due to Tamoxifen, help reduce chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting, help dry mouth (xerostomia) due to radiotherapy of the head and neck area, and more.
